intercoolers

whats a good intercooler to buy? i have a 97 ford and i hear people talking about the 6.0 intercoolers..where can i find one of them?

I have been thinking about doing it to mine eventually. You can get 6.0 and 7.3 intercoolers off ebay pritty cheap and here is a install kit for it http://www.gts-motorsports.com/fordintercoolers.html

ebay.... they usually run about 150-175 shipped... They never have more than one on there at a time... otherwise they would be cheaper..

Bosmack has one he was gonna let go of cheap.

If you want a performance intercooler, go for the Spearco. Only choice IMO.

This is exactly what I did on my 96. I got my IC off ebay for 65 bucks.

1994 F-250 PSD ext cab 5spd 4x4 Gutted ebpv ,Valeo smf and clutch,3 pos Tony Wildman chip!, 3-4" Dp, 4" exhaust,Tymar intake, shimmed fpr, HPX crossover, 1.0 a/r exhaust housing, vdo gauges, 279,000k
1996 F-250 PSD CC SB 4x4, 5spd, 4:10's SMF clutch, 3" dp, cats gone, gauges Tymar intake, HPX, .84 a/r exhaut housing, 6oh intercooler/GTS kit, 4pos chip by Tony Wildman!

Geoff if on here once in a while you can try PM'n him. No number but with e-mails it took a long time to get responses when I ordered my kit last year.
