Still Fight it

i have a 97 that i have done many upgrades. i put 230 injectors in it and it skips now. it's not an injecotor i tested them. did cct, and buzz test and passed. but still skips. changed wiring uvc and gasket still skips could it be a irp icp sensor or in my pcm oh yeah changed idm and wasn't that. what are theses fuel screens people are taking about. do you think it could be a fuel problem. i have just tried everything and getting very tired of fighting it. could it be the HPOP i know that is weak but could that cause it. i just need help fast anything will help. thanks andy

How long have you had your injectors. I just put mine in last week and its still idleing ruff, but I dont have a lot of miles on it yet I have been told by a couple of people it might take a while for it to smooth out. I would think if it was a hpop problem it would be cutting out at full throttle when you need the most oil, unless its getting air in the oil. Dose it start OK?

There are no codes, the only one that i have ever got is the HPOP higher or lower then desired. but the injectors have been in it for awhile i have ran it it and dosn't seem to get better the only thing that seemed to improve it was a IDM that was worked so it put out 140 volts.

I'm using a Snap On, why does it matter. there is no code appearing that would contribute to this proplem. I guess i will jsut have to figure it out.

Well, first of all it matters because not all scanners will read codes from our trucks at all, some scanners will only read hard codes.

It matters second of all because you need to be able to do some live data logging to help figure out your problem.

You still have the 10k mod on there ? if so id try pulling that and the chip at seperate times to see if theres any difference.
