Got some numbers:

Okay the readings I had pulling the trailer were at the highest pushing 20 lbs.of boost and excelerating quickly but not by any means full throttle, were 24% duty cycle and 2794 on the inj. pressure. Cruising I was showing between 17 - 20% duty cycle and 700 and 900 inj. pressure at 60 mph, while boost was 3-4 lbs. Do these #'s indicate a fairly healthy HPOP. I can get some full throttle readings unloaded if need be. I figured that I would post the numbers here as nobody was responding in my post "Where is my IPR?". Gene :mafia

You need to do some long, hard, WOT runs to get a better idea of the condition of the HPO system. Are you throwing codes or losing power or something that is causing you to worry?

Gene...with nearly 2800 psi oil...I think you are ok. When my hpop was going out...I could barely make 1300 psi.

I agree with Dave, But because it is working well today dosen't mean it will tomorrow. Mine worked great last April at Smokin and till Sept. it was tuckered out.

But I fixed that. :

Not anymore but I was the guy that had codes 1209,1211,1212,1247,&1248, a couple of weeks back and could not get my truck to run for more than a few seconds at a time. I replaced my IPR and was just trying to determine if everything looks copacetic now. I'm paranoid I guess. Gene, :mafia

You know nothing about the HPOP's condition if you didn't go WOT.

Go WOT in your highest setting and HOLD it there for a bit and record your lowest reading.

Gregrob, I'll have to wait until the roads clear up a bit for that. On just slightly wet pavement I can break the tires loose at 45-50 mph, don't want to risk it with the roads covered with snow, slush, or ice. But thanks for the info, I'm just gonna have to wait til they clear and dry up alittle. Gene :mafia

A Snap on Scanner. It belongs to a friend of mine. I looked at getting one for myself but the cost is quite prohibitive---try around $5000.00. He said I can borrow it any time I want. I tell ya though this scanner is the schizzle !!! Gene :mafia
