gear ratio

How do you find out the gear ratio in a 01 F350 SRW?

-Charley, 1995 Nissan hardbody, single cab,2.4 i-4, 5spd, straight piped - 4.5in tip, 2x Rockford Fosgate R1's

If it's diesel it's a 3.73:1.

As Fast Ashley said it should be a 3:73 bur to be sure, look on the rear diff cover. Look for the tag like the one in the picture

Diesel or not, doesnt make a diff, 3.73 or 4.10... or there is differant ratios for the F-450s....

Look at the tag or the door code.

01 F-250 SC PSD,210k,16 Isspro Gauges, AFE-2,CCV Mod,IAH delete,map reg,Modded H2e, 6.0 IC, GTS Hybrid injectors, Studs, 910 Valve springs, Forged rods Water injection,Swamps tuned, MBRP 4" dual's, Aero, 6" tip's, 100 axl tank, 4" Revtek lift, 37-14.50-17 TOYO MT's 469hp and 1068tq...

One more question, is the stock exhaust 3in or 3.5in? I couldn't tell, we want to straight pipe it until we get the 4in or maybe even stacks :evil: And does the stock Garrett turbo have a silencer ring?

Downpipe is 3", the rest is 3.5".

No silencer ring on these rigs, cummins boy!!! laugh

Yeah i had a feeling there wasn't one on there, it whistles pretty loud.

What i meant to say was if it's a diesel single wheel, it's got a 3.73.
