0238- I think it's a faulty map sensor. Not sure about the other one.

P0238 is a overboost code. Verry common on a modded truck if you dont have a regulator in the map line.

However it seems odd that you also got a code for the wastegate. Maybe the wastegate acutator isn't working properly. Do you have a Banks wastegate actuator? Do you have the wastegate wired shut?

I do have the banks wastegate, I noticed the set nut came loose. I'll fix it tomorrow and see if that helps the problem. Will I have to get the codes cleared?

Yep get the codes cleared. Dennis at ITP has a boost regulator, and it's the cat's meow!!

Same thing as apressure regulator on your air compressor, except on your map line. Regulates the amount of compressed air your map sensor sees so it won't de-fuel. It de-fuels at like 20-23 Lbs. of boost pressure.
P.S. You can't ask a stupid question, my girlfriend handles that!!!

It is a regulator that is put in the MAP hose that will keep the MAP Sensor from seeing more than 24 psi. The computer will de-fuel if boost gets above 25-26. With free flowing exhaust, intake, and a chip you will see more than 25 psi when you are running it hard.

Edit: fast_ashley beat me to it...your just too fast for me!!
