Suspension Question F350

Will 6" springs from a 00 F350 fit a 96 F350. A friend of mine is takin his lift off and he said he would give me a good deal on it but I wasn't 100% sure a 6" newer body style lift was the same as a 6" old body style lift. Anyone know?

I think superduty leafs are wider, but they should work.

So do I need to make new perches or just use wider U-Bolts?

The perch on the driver side is part of the housing, youl have to fill the center-pin hole with weld and drill a new hole. Probably easier to get the right springs,IMO
