coolant?

Hey guys, i just ahd to replace my water pump, now I need to knnow what are the Specs for coolant. Its a 2000 is that makes a difference. Any ways how many gallons of coolant and what kind. Also wandering if you guys suggest the pre mix stuff.

What color is the coolant that came out.......and IMO the pre-mix is the way to go....just fill it up and then start the truck and let it run for awhile and the check the level and add as needed.......some coolants can be mixed with any other coolant also......like fleet guard ( I think) coolant.

Delo ELC is probably one of the best coolants going. But...I would not recommend it in an engine manufactured prior to 2/2/99 (SN 940614), since International did not revise the engine to be compatible with heavy duty ELC until then.

Im running Zerex GO-5 gold coolant in my '99. Not one problem yet... I flushed the system completely 2 times, pulling the plugs in the block and everything.

'99 F-350 Supercab Lariat built 2/13/99

Camper Package, TS 6-pos chip, DIY Tymar, 4" Magnaflow turboback SS Exhaust, 203* Thermostat, Coolant Filter, Upgraded Headlights/corner lamps, Custom center console with a sub

Autometer Guages were stolen!

MANUAL HUBS AND TRANSFER CASE!
