Pro Comp 6" Lift Kit - Advice Please.

Today i am going to look at a used 6" lift from an 03 7.3L excursion. What is the difficulty in this; i have to take it off of the excursion and put it on my f250. I am mechanically inclined, i'm sure i can do it. Anything i should remember or look for when i go to see his truck with the kit on it?

Any advice or input will be much appreciated. Thanks.

did you put a longer drive shaft in your dads truck or have to make it longer?

I've got their 6" lift on my truck, no drive shafts needed, you may need to space the rear drive shaft if you have a carrier bearing. This will eliminate the shudder/vibration you may get on acceleration with the addition of this kit. . .also expect to see a pretty significant drop in mpg.
