just wondering what all it would take to convert from SRW to DRW.

What all will I need, and what do you think something like this would cost?

There are a couple ways to do it one is a conversion kit. the other is to get a Dana 80 make sure the gears match the front end if you have a 4x4 and drop it in. Oh yeah and you will need the dually box

JC Whitney sells the conversion kit....wheel adapters and rear fenders to mount on the box. Dont know if you want to go that route or not.

Both of these sites offer dual wheel conversion kits, plus adapters to run 10 lug wheels.

I don't know how much money you want to spend, but you can find the dana60 dually hubs on ebay cheap a lot. That is where I got mine and I think I paid $125 shipped for them. A dually rear axle from 88 up should work. I am not sure if the speed sensor is the same clear up until 97 but I bet it is. They seem to be cheap as long as you stay away from the local salvage yards. It just depends what direction you want to go. The dual adapter kit might be cheaper on the rear depending what wheels they use.
