E brake

i replaced some bulbs in my dash today and one was the e brake. now even when the e brake is off, the light stays on. anyone know why?

Did you try and adjusting or have your ebrake adjusted at the drum?

the brakes are almost brand new.

The brakes can be brand new, mine as 3/4 life left but i still had to make the adjustments on the E brake screws on the rear drums to make the light keep from coming on

Lookat the ebrake bracket there is a wire run to it there should be a switch see if it is stuck.
