Fuel filter stand pipe

Is there a filter in the fuel stand pipe that the fuel filter slides over and can it be cleaned.:Thumbup:

there is a screen between the filter housing and the regulator that has been known to stop up.

there are 2 bolts that hold the regulator to the housing take them out and gently pull the regulator away from the housing about an inch then you can see the screen it isn't but about 3/8 in in diamiter. usually you can wipe it off and blow thw crud away from it. there is a o-ring that seals it you may have to replace when you take it loose.
