exhaust leak after install

hey all,

installed my first deisel exhaust yesterday, mbrp 4 inch turbo back, i am getting some fumes in the cab, traced it to the back side of the turbo were the downpipe meets it, you can't hear it but you can smell it, and from underneath the truck you can see the clamp is black, how tight can you tighten the clamp before it breaks? is there a torque spec, i loosed the exhaust top and bottom , gave it a wiggle and smack, and retightened it all. should i replace the clamp , maybe mines pooched of having 87,000.km's on it and now i messed with it?it is near impossible to make sure the pipe is mated tight before installing the clamp, but i am positive the clamp is all the way around properly, any ideas or opions would be appreciated.

thanks in advance

Just clamp it down... Those are strong clamps but dont just keep on tightening them. I make mine really tight.
