DIY intake !!!!! air flow sensor ???

I just installed the DIY air filter into my 99 S.D. and came across some sort of sender inside the air box. Is this a flow meter ??? I guess my question is what to do with it and if it will cause a engine dash light to come on ???

Thanks again guys !!!!

P.S.-- is the two stroke premix added just for its lubricating properties ????

Like was said above, just pull the sensor out of the stock air box and zip it out of your way. It needs to be connected to give air temp readings to the computer.

The 2 stroke oil is mainly for lubrication. There were a couple of ongoing threads about it. There is lots of info there if you want to sift through all the other BS. I have used it and I think it helps with economy a little but I didn't notice much of an engine noise change. There a differing oppinions about it of course.
