When I was running Jody's (DP Tuner
) 80 hp econo tune, unloaded on the highway keeping it below 2000 rpm I could get 24 mpg. The norm though was usually between 21 - 22 mpg. I could also get 18.5-19 aound town driving. I do not get those numbers with the 60 hp tow or the 120 hp fun programs though. I truly think Jody's 80 hp econo tune is the best tune I have run, it was fast, but economical, and while not a towing program it seemed to work better for my loads than the 60 hp tow program has done for me. I also got a best of 17.7 pulling my 5th wheel on the highway with that tune, but I can get 15.5 -16 with the 120hp tune pulling the same 5th wheel. When I get my injectors and big oil, and I 'll have a need for changing my F5 chip programs then I'll get the 80 hp econo tune back. Gene :mafia
