Couple of GTP38R questions

Do they make a smaller housing for it? When I'm towing the boost is nowhere near where I need it to be, until I get up to 70-75 MPH>>2500RPM I'm still haveing to back off small hills for High EGT's and a lot of :smoke Doesn't seem to build over 10lb's until I really lay into it thus spiking the EGT's.

Or do I need bigger intercooler/exhaust? I still have my 3.5"DP and stock CAC. Don't know what to do, it's frustrating having all this power but not quite being able to get to it because of high EGT"S Even when the turbo lights it still doesn't cool it down...SO I guell I should start with new downpipe and Intercooler.

Sorry these are just random thoughts going through my head.

You could put a .84 housing on there, but then the drive pressures would be very high... I would try a 4" down pipe and drive at a higher RPM... Take the load off and she wont lug so much.

I am towing right now with the 1.15 housing, and run about 2700 rpms for long times with no problem. These motors are built to run higher RPM's.

Sounds like you need less fuel at low boost, or you could just drop a gear (you have a 6spd right?)

I was going to write a disclaimer in the title. People who consume more than 10lbs of cheese a day, not allowed to post.

I'll get the DP and stay in gears longer...those stacks are just so fricken loud that high in the rpm range. CSIPSD what's that website for the switch valve you have, I really need one.
