Flex plate?

well i think i figured out my noise ( Other Thread )

i was talking to a guy i work with that used to work at ford and he said it was fairly common for the flex plate's bolt holes to develope stress cracks and eventually egg shape the holes

he said it made the same sound mine is making

my question is, other than ATS, does any company offer a stronger than stock flex plate?

thanks
~Tim

I was told that a newer flexplate is slightly stronger/better than an OBS. Last winter the bolts for the TC backed out of the flexplate. I looked into a stronger unit then and was told to get one from a '01 or newer...
