tranny range sensor....

I had a Ford mechanic on his spare time , run the standard tests as if you went to the dealer.

the digital readout on the tester said that my truck was in a different gear than it really was all the time.

So he said i had a bad range sensor on the tranny and that it wouldnt hurt the tranny in any way.

Im going to start plowing soon and i want to make sure that i wont hurt the tranny with that bad sensor.

what do you guys think?

2000 F-350 Super cab, Tadds tunes, AFE Pro Guard intake, 4" MBRP cool Duals, Nexus Gauges , Tubonetics Ball Bearing Turbo.
