Attention To All With Boost Problems

Ok I just replaced the motor in my late 99 power stroke. Unfortunatley blowing my motor helped me find my Boost problem. The EBP line from the passenger side manifold to the EBP sensor above the water pump had a 1" piece rusted out which was leaking EXH. out of it and dropping my boost. The area is rusted out was behing the A/C comp. Bracket where you cant see it. The motor I put in was out of a 2000 and that same line is stainless so Im assuming after 99 the fixed that problem. I hope this helps all you guys having boost problems. Let me know who else finds this problem.

I replaced my EBPV tube a couple of weeks ago while troubleshooting I removed my tube which looked like swiss cheese it had so many hole in it. But honestly, after installing the new tube I felt no difference.

Well I guess its not really blown but I lost compression in #7 due to the top ring being broke a 1" wide pice of the ring land breaking off between the scraper ring and the oil ring and the oil ring being in a few pieces. The truck had 200,000 on it and all the rod bearing would need to be replaced so I decided to just buy a used 2000 motor that has 65,000 miles on it for $2400. It was a complete motor with turbo and everything so I couldnt pass it up.
