best option for DIY injector kit?

really intrigued by these kits offered on DIY injecter.com, is it a big deal if i dont change my injectors over to single shots? the only reason why im thinkin about keepin them splits is in the event i ever sell the truck and take the tuner out of it, i want it to run on the stock programming. my goal is 400rwhp, im making around 300-320 right now, i need that extra 80 horse or so, im on a stock turbo but will upgrade to a dominator 66 or TN drop in eventually. which kit should i go with and whats the down side to the nozzle upgradE?

Unfortunately, 400 on splits and the stock oil pump is going to be tough. The bigger nozzles will let the injector empty a little quicker, but 120cc's of fuel isn't that much. . .couple that with the oil hungry nature of the AB's and 400hp is probably out of reach. (I'm assuming you have an early 99 since your going w/the D66, therefore you have the smaller AB injectors. .. let me know if i'm wrong).

My Thoughts:

Do you plan to tow? Larger nozzles will create extra heat while towing, special care must be taken when selecting nozzles for a tow rig. Larger nozzles can also reduce mileage.

If you convert to singles (which is the way to go, more power, better economy), you could have jody do a flash on your computer and put a base single shot tune on the computer so if you sell the truck it's got the proper programming.

I've got some other options for you. If you're interested shoot me a PM and i'll give you my phone number.

yes i have an early 99, it has ADs in it tho and the newer hpop. im all about going to singles if thats what it takes. eventually i will do big oil, but im really leaning towards doing injectors first only because i have a lot of miles on my truck, i know the injectors in it are remans but i have no idea how old they are and how worn they are, so id rather replace those first.

i tow, but nothing heavy, i tow a 2000lb sled trailer loaded with 2 snowmobiles in the winter, every once in a great while ill tow a 10000-15000lb load but thats only about 3 times a year, and i tune down for that even now.

I dont know that much when it comes to injectors so I cant really help you.
But I wanted to tell you that a TN drop-in wont fit in a early 99. That is for 99.5-03.

early 99 with some stuff on it

It would be crazy to pull the injectors to mod them and not do it right the first time. You can make 400+ on stock nozzles, flow of the injector is the issue. I would do some hybrids if you want to go the DIY route.

If your injectors are shot (or worn out) then the DIY kits are going to cost you about as much as a pro built set of injectors... Thats the route I would go...

01 F-250 SC PSD,210k,16 Isspro Gauges, AFE-2,CCV Mod,IAH delete,map reg,Modded H2e, 6.0 IC, GTS Hybrid injectors, Studs, 910 Valve springs, Forged rods Water injection,Swamps tuned, MBRP 4" dual's, Aero, 6" tip's, 100 axl tank, 4" Revtek lift, 37-14.50-17 TOYO MT's 469hp and 1068tq...
