Question Weird Gauge Problem

The Oil Pressure & Charging system gauges suddenly quit working today. However, the Temperature and Fuel gauges work fine. The Pyrometer & Tranny temp gauges also quit (they're tapped into fuses #10 & #17). I have lights to the dash and my warning chimes work find as do the wipers. As both gauges went at once and the serpentine is fine, I believe it's an electrical problem and not low oil and and bad alternator.

Any ideas as to where to look? Wouldn't a bum fuse cause all the gauges to quit and not just the upper two?

So are they working now? Were the replacement fuses blowing as well?

Naw, I just couldn't get one to make a good connection. Don't know why it took 3 to find one that worked. Knock on wood, things seem ok now.
