Sterring Wheel Covers

Any special thing to pulling the covers of my steering wheel? I want to A) replace the wheel itself....so I'm hoping there is a nut holding it on....and B)run switches/wires to the wheel itself. I wasn't sure if there was just clips holding the plastic on or not. Oh yeah, my 96 OBS does NOT have an airbag.....
Thanks

There should be 2 screws on the back side of the plastic after you take those out it should just come off.
