Need some help with some codes

I have a 2000 Ford F-250 with a 7.3 Diesel. My service engine light soon came on and the codes showing up on my reader is P1280 the ICP sensor out of range low and PO475 Exhaust Pressure Regulator error. The truck is definetely running differently but not bad. My question is are these very hard sensors to change out do you need any special tools and are these items under any pressure that has to be relieved from the system where are they located? My manual doesn't show the ICP sensor and for the Exhaust pressure Regulator doesn't show that one very well either.
Two other questions could the ICP sensor trigger the Exhaust code and on another note instead of this exhaust regulator could the exhaust regulator sensor trigger the PO475 code?

Any help with information would cetainly be appreciated by me. I don't have the money to take it in to the dealer so I have to make the repairs my self and I don't want to make a serious mistake..

The P1280 is a common code with injectors that demand alot of oil.It is telling you that they are useing more oil that the HPOP can give them.PO475 not sure but on my 97 it is the tube to the sencer is pluged or the sencer is bad.

The 1280 is ICP circuit out of range. open/grounded circuit, biased sensor, pcm

It's not the same as a 1211 that indicates low ICP pressure.

0475 is Exhaust pressure control valve malfunction. open/grounded circuit, solenoid open/shorted, failed pcm

I think you need to start looking for some bad wiring.

Thanks for the information but i can't seem to locate the ICP sensor? My manual doesn't seem to have it listed or where it is at?

drive side valve cover near the front of the motor on top it has a 3 wire plug it should be sticking up in between the v/c and the fuel bowl
