Getting 96 OBS with ONLY 121,000 Miles
Looks like I may be acquiring my step fathers 96 F250 XLT Ext. Cab 4x4 here shortly. He is the second owner of the truck and it only had 42,000 miles on it when he got it. He bought the truck from the dealership my mom worked at and it belonged to a older couplle that traded for a half ton and it did not have ball or hitch in bed and the reciever hitch still looked brand new.
This truck is all original and immaculant inside and out and all he has done with it is drive back and forth to work and has pulled his 5th wheel to the lake and back maybe 6 times and the longest trip it has seen is to Indiana hauling bookcases in the bed.
I finally talked him into a mild chip last year along with exhaust and he built an intake for it. The only reason he agreed to that stuff is because fuel was high and he wanted to increase fuel milage.
I can tell you for a fact this truck has been babied as he never even drives over 65mph on the interstate. I hate riding with him.
I am planning to sale the truck if and when I get it and I am just curious what you all think that truck would be worth with that few of miles??

Need more info on the truck... XLT, auto, long bed, colors, etc? With todays used car prices in the dumper, don't be hoping for much...

pull the dip stick while running leave it out for a little bit, if no oil starts shooting out sounds like a keeper......

This is the best I could do tonight. You will hardly ever catch it out of the carport unless he is driving it to work and back.

Has a couple dings on it and the tailgate has a bent corner and a small piece of the black plastic missing but other than that the body is pretty much perfect.
The interior still looks brand new and is always kept clean.
Not sure what I will be asking for it yet.

This truck is getting redone from the ground up just for advertising at events.
