Installed Tymar & Exhaust

Well, 4 hours on Saturday and 1 hour today and I have a 4" turbo back Diamond Eye exhaust and a Tymar Intake.

It definitley breathes better now!

What is this and why is it there if I don't need it?

Thanks for everyone's help and advice!

Ok, Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor right? I zip tied it to a bunch of wires by the firewall. Is that going to change anything not having it plugged into the air box?

Thanks!

Yes, it's amazing how much better the engine compartment looks not all cluttered up with that big black plastic atrosity!

No problem, glad to share!

Downpipe was not bad at all. Had a short struggle getting the clamp off but that was the extent of it. I'm going to take it to a local custom exhaust shop and get it welded up. All those clamps under there look terrible!

Ok, so my question is this ... if it doesn't matter if it's in or out of the air intake, why did Ford put it there and what could it possibly do?
