Need Help

I have a 97 250 that has recently started missing at idle when you start it up.
I sounds like the fuel is coming and going, The rpms jump from 700 down to 200 back and forth. Sounds a lot like a gas burner with a really big cam. I thank it may be sucking air but am not sure where to start looking. I did change the fuel filter and made sure it was sealing. Any help would be great.
thanks

Garage
That could be the cps and yes a tuner would not hurt the truck . Be sure to install the basic supporting mods ; exhaust and intake .

You can idle the truck up a little for a second and the lope goes away. And the other day when it first started i had a very big lose of power.
