Check engine light, runs bad, turn key off then on, runs fine?

2000 7.3 with about 15psi boots upon exceleration the truck starts to sputter.

This feels like an injector, but would turning the key on and off make it run fine if it is injector?

Once the check engine code is clear the rough running clears.

Why don't you tell us what the code is you are getting.

Could be lots of things.

Guess I would need to catch it while code is hitting.

I took to autozone and the check engine light on, but reader picks up no code.

Is an autozone code reader good enough?

nope you have to have something like AE to scan our trucks.

Where do you live?

First off you shouldn't have cleared the code, we would be able to point you in a better direction if you tell us the code? next time it pops up write it down and post it here, until then we can help you much but make guesses.

yeah b4 he said the only way he had to read them was AutoZone.... And there code readers aren't good enough to see the codes.
