Probably the o'rings under the turbo . It will run down and look like the main is leaking . 6 bucks at Ford for the o'rings .

Look in the valley and see if there is any oil down there, then check the turbo pedistal. More then likely it is the turbo O rings or the EBPV rod...

Yea, take a look in the valley on top of the engine. If there is oil in there, wash it out, then take another look to see if you can see where its coming from. If the valley in the front does'nt fill up again it is most likely turbo pedistal o rings. If the valley is full up to the front, it may be coming from the HPOP plugs or gasket and running back.

Also, go ahead and check the clamps on the intercooler boots. Mine were a little loose and oil in time weeped out and while it did not leak down the valley drain hole, it did leave residue in the valley.

Do a search on the HPOP non serviceable plug and see if that could also be a culprit.

Be sure its oil and not diesel . After the diesel slops around in the valley it gets dirty and black .

checked the turbo o rings and the hpop lines but no oil there.went under the truck and could see that the passenger valve cover had a little excess oil on it than usual? its like its all over the oilpan, head and valve cover but not leaving oil on the ground. could it be pushing oil out of the oil fill tube while driving or what???? thanks for the replys and i keep looking for it.

The fill spout could be leaking slightly. There is a gasket-oring under it. It turns a half turn or so and locks in like the old style oil caps used to. Wipe it off, then watch it. How careful are you when you add oil> I get a little squirley when I don't have a funnel and end up spilling it down the tube.

I would use some simple green and try to clean the area, then see where it comes back..

Maybe you could even retorque the valve cover gaskets...
