Yankin da Cat

When you fellas get rollin on rippin out the cat and running straight pipe, has anyone addressed the e-test issue? Up here in Ontario they e-test the diesels. My truck's still stock and I'm looking at the DIY intake and the downpipe treatment. Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

if you buy an MBRP cat delete/test pipe you can bolt the cat in & out in about
15min...if you DIY this an weld it you could be in for some trouble everytime
you get inspected !

the MBRP test pipe uses one clamp and two bolts, doesnt require alteration
to the factory exhaust & makes the switch-o-change-o EASY !

the test pipe is about 50 bucks !

got a 95 7.3 f 350 .......anybody ever heard of a "y" cut out on the down pipe , either manual or automatic (from a cab switch). I would run a second pipe off the "y" back under the bed.

my question arises from DOT inspections hauling HAZ MAT ( EXPOSIVES) they are gonna want to se the cat and muffler and hope they arent going to bust me for altering when giving the excuse the "Y' is there for engine testing purposes.... Thanks
