help with hpop install

Ok so I just intstalled an adrenaline hpop, diy inj, and a reg. Ret fuel system. On my 96. I have a problem with keeping oil pressure up after the truck is shut off and sits for more then 5 min. If I try to star it the oil pressure gauge reads on the dash reads nothing untill I crank wit for about 5-6 revolutions then it picks up oil pressure and fires right up. What gives?? The instructions with the adrenaline are kinds of vauge. Was there anything else I needed to put in the adrenline from the stock hpop besides the fittings? I left out the spring and that stufff from the stocker as per the the instructions. Any ideas??

maybe they sent you the wrong pump. i think you may need a pump with a internal anti drain back valve. someone could tell you better then me just my guess.

No problems with the hpop install, but I havent started my truck yet, because I am replacing the core support due to rust, and my fuel filter housing had two dimples in the bottom, that became holes when I probed them with a pick tool. Glad I caught that now. I hope to fire mine up by sunday evening. I'll let you know.

Thumbs up JUST IN TIME!!

Looking at buying the adrenaline pump. How would you rate it? I'm also going with stage 2 diy'ers. Know if anyone has done a write-up on removal and install? Let me know what you find out on the pressure loss problem
