Get Rid Of DTRL

Does any one know how I can get rid of my day time running lights? I have been looking how to do this for a while now. Has anyone done this to their psds. I have a 2001.

Pull the fuse underneath the hood. Did that 3 years ago and all is still well.

Dunno. Mine didn't have fogs from the factory, I added them later by using a relay.

On the daytime running lamp (DRL) unplug relay # 1.
Look at the bottom of it you should see pins # 85, 86, 87, 87a, 30.
Connect a jumper wire where pins 87a and 30 would have plugged in
You should be up and running, let me know if you have any problems

there is a little cage right behind the drivers side headlight on the cross member. There is a relay inside that cage. disconnect the wire and good to go
