99.5 7.3 oil crossover line and Swamps Injectors

This is my first powerstroke, and before I had a cummins so bear with me.
The truck presently is all stock sans muffler delete

been researching high pressure oil crossover lines, swamps injectors and such for my 99.5 super duty, and here is my thoughts, any insight would be appreciated.

swamps 160cc single shots, oil crossover line, afe intake , and mbrp '4 inch exhaust.

this setup is to eliminate the #8 long lead , and get a fresh set of injectors(they have 200k on them and #8 has failed).

the crossover line is to make it idle better, and hopefully make number 8 last longer in addition to lowering noise.

what kind of power will I be looking at with this setup, and will this shred my rebuilt auto ? thanks guys

Personally...don't spend the money on the cross over line. It quiets the idle slightly...but with the singles you are planning on dropping in...you won't notice it. If you want to help the injectors last as long as possible...instead look at getting a regulated fuel return kit. Dennis at ITP carries a great kit for the money.

And you will need tuning to make those singles work in the truck.

Other than that...if you behave your tranny should be ok. I would maybe look into a new valve body perhaps to aid in quicker shifts and avoid the slippage.

2004 Excursion Limited 6.0L, Dipricol gauges on the A-Pillar, Bilsteins and BFG's on the corners, lost EGR (not looking hard for it either), ARP studs, RCD Black Onyx head gaskets, MBRP 4" exhaust, (labor performed by Dan @ Midwest Transmission) **giggled when traded**
