Low ICP Pressure (150 psi) - No Start. Have VC's off

Still trying to diagnose my no-start problem.

Can you guys help me with what to look for. I have the Valve Covers off as I figured I'd be able to see an obvious oil leak, but I don't see anything when I crank it. Not sure if it matters or not but I don't have the main wiring harness hooked up (the one that runs over the driver's VC).

Hooked the main harness back up and ran a buzz test on the injectors. Results are....

1271 High to Low Side Open

1273 High to Low Side Open

1275 High to Low Side Open

1277 High to Low Side Open

1293 High Side Open Bank - RIGHT

1294 High Side Open Bank - LEFT

Any thoughts??

I am thinking it is electrical in nature because I am also getting 1283 and 0605 in a KOEO test.

UVC harnesses were tight, and I have the VC's off and there is no oil leaking that would lower OIL pressure readings.... If I am way off base let me know...

Have you checked your CPS?

Even went and bought a new one. If I take the Banks Ottomind chip out I still get the 1283 code, but not the 0605....

What is a short in Circuit 522 (Y/R)

Should be yellow, have you checked the IPR?

only other thing is your PCM is fried.

YEP - the yellow wire with a red stripe going into the IPR was no longer making a connection. As a result it was sending a falsely low PSI reading to the PCM regarding the oil pressure and the PCM was not letting the injectors fire.

So - To recap my last 4 weeks. Truck began hesitating horribly, ultimately cut off at the end of the driveway. In my quest to fix it I replace the CPS, IPR, ICP, IDM, HPOP all with no success. FINALLY I hopped on Craigslist and was able to find a Snap-On scanner for 300 bucks - an MT2500 (yes this was a true steal).

For people searching in the future - if the obvious fix of replacing the CPS doesn't fix it get a scanner FIRST - not LAST like I did. I am now out a month worth of weekends and about 1000 bucks because I didn't just buy a scanner first.

Be sure to run the KOEO when you are troubleshooting. I ran in injector buzz test with the results above which could have indicated other problems, but running the KOEO in conjunction allowed me to ignore the BUZZ results and focus on finding the real problem. ALSO, I evidently have a Banks Ottomind chip in the PCM and as a result the PCM will always throw an P0605 code.

Just putting all this out there for the next person that is using the search function.

Keywords - Injection Pressure Regulator - Injector Control Pressure Sensor - HPOP - IDM - CPS
