bad icp sensor shes oily but...

does having a bad sensor have anything to do with the engine not starting unless the block heater is plugged in (even in summer)? glow plugs and relay are fine
p1316, p1280, p0470,p0603, truck runs great when she warms up. any help would be greatly appreciated. 300000km. thanks in advance.

do you have to plug it in even in summer? i think icp works with pcm for fuel delivery to injectors.

No i dont plug it in, just have to key on and off couple times then crank it and itll start, if i just crank it then it takes a longer time to crank, much longer than it ever used to

Sounds like your IDM is going bad not your ICP. are all your codes injector related?

if you are worried about the icp sensor you can unhook it and try starting it. with the icp sensor unpluged the ecm goes into a default mode and should start better if that is the problem.
