no start oil light on

truck wont start and when u turn key on oil light comes on. just put a new cps in it what could it be? looks like there is oil down in the valley.

2000 f350 7.3 ext cab 6speed- 4inch dp, 5inch straight pipe, ts 6 pos chip. stock 140 100 75 50 high idle, zoodad, fpr shimmed, 6637 intake, 5inch lift, foil delete, beans idm, stage one injectors....r.i.p was fun when it lasted

Don't know about your vehicle specifically but most all when you turn on key, engine not running, the oil light SHOULD come on.
Shows its working, no pressure, should be on. When engine starts and there is pressure it goes out.

I had my truck not start or even crank over and my battery were dead but i my light and everything came on like u said.
oil in the valley is your turbo pedestrian o-rings there 4 o-ring yellow 2 big 2 small. pull your turbo off there 2 o-ring, and right under that u have to take 4? bolts off and pull your pedestrian off 2 o-ring there
I did that like 2 week ago takes 4 hours and lots of back pain

Yeah almost every superduty I've seen with the 7.3 has had oil in the valley due to this.

On the hunt for a 7.3 preferably CC or Ext. Cab SB...Let me know of any deals.

or either the hpop o-rings could be gone also it aint always the turbo pedistal o-rings

well i baught both o ring kits last night cost me like 20 bucks shipped and ordering stage one sticks this week and melling lpop
