What Next?

I picked up a 95 2500 5sp. 2wd. and the best I can tell it is stock. I have a few plans for it as a daily driver with some mods. I all ready have most of the parts is why I wanted a 12V. I want to make 450 to 500 hp and here is what I have, what else do you feel I will need.

I will start by tabbing the killer dowel pin and getting a bit of a look inside.
I am going to O ring the head and install studs.
60 lbs valve springs
Add a .020 over thickness head gasket.
Add a rack plug and set the timing at 17 degrees.
Mod the AFC for full rack travel and grind a 100 plate
Add .093 holders and 181 DV's
5X14 injector.
Add a duel feed from the transfer to the injection pump
Install a Fass 150 transfer pump with 1/2 vulcan pickup tube.
A small set of twins (HX35 over a S366)
4" exhaust pipe
A south bend FE clutch.
Air locker in the differential

Ok, what else do I need?

If you are going to set your goals 450 hp with 5X14 injectors why not get a twin disk clutch? After all it is not any fun pulling the transmission.

Ok, what else do I need?
also check the timing case bolts. loctite them and retq them.
rack plug is useless with a plate
.093 holders arent needed, stick with 131s
5x.014 is way more than 500, 5x.012 would be fine. also, where are the 5x.014 from?
i'd recommend a dual disc clutch as well. 3250 would bo good along with 1 3/8" input and check the 5th gear nut

seems to be a good list of parts.

I was thinking 5X14 would make better torque lower in the RPM and a little less timing would help spool the turbo's better. Also the DV's are 181.

Why stick with 131 DV's?
