Turbo upgrade ?

Ok, for my sig truck, I'm wanting to upgrade the stock turbo for towing (& mild playing) and get the EGT's down, wanting more volume with less pressure if possible.

Once I get over 20lb's the EGT's fly up past 1k and this happens about 2800 rpm, kinda sux to have 4k kit and not be able to use it for more than a few seconds (hope to hell this isn't the norm)

Again, this needs to be a useable tow rig (12k trailer)

Thanks in advance. Don

You can run a 57/65/12 and that would be a good upgrade it spools about as quick as a stock turbo. You will need the hx40 down pipe, (I have on for sale). You can pick up a 57/65 for about 1K.

If you want a little more than you can go with a 62/65/12, wont spool as fast as the 57 but still a good turbo for towing.

The higher RPMs and the 100 plate aren't helping you any at all.

A 10 plate would be better for towing. Just slide it forward from stock.

Maybe I missed it but what injectors are you running and where is your timing set?
