I am selling my dirt bike to get some new goodies for my truck, I will be putting turbo/injectors on from a local guy at bigpowerdiesel.com I will have around $2000 dollors for that, how much hp do you think ill be looking at after? also I hear the best tranny builder in socal is Mike from Inglewood Transmisions and I called him told him what im planning to do and he qouted me $3800 done, I dont know totally what hes putting in(need to call him in the morning to discuss) I told him 450-500 hp Is that price high for a built tranny? and also I bought a 3k gsk do you thing I should send it back and get the 4k?

well for that power... 450-500 3k.. u might be floating the valves... id do a 4K..so id sent them back...well it depends on what kind of injectors your looking to get.. i got my 370's from http://www.citydiesel.net and they were 319.. tax.. and 2 day air shipping.. ( and it was on time) u cant beat that.. and i got my DV's from them too.. turbo i havent really looked into that yet.

How much power? Can't guess at this point, since we don't know how big of ones you are planning to get.

$3800 doesn't sound to awful bad for a trans, depending on what they doing to it, and if that includes the convertor or not. I'd also contact Dave Goerend. He built mine. www.gbtransmissions.com

Don't think you need to send the 3k GSK back. They should only need to send you one more spring, that the #K kit doesn't have. WILL need 60# valve springs to run that kit, if you intend to use the RPMs. Valve to piston contact is a BAD thing.
