best injectors???

Alright, I'm trying to decide on which injectors are right for me. I'm planning on some laser cut d/v's in the near future also, but 370's aren't cutting it any more.
I know there are a lot of options. My truck is a daily driver first and a toy second, but I like to play. I'm looking to be somewhere around 500-550 for now, until I can do some internals that will handle a big set of twins and some more fuel. I never tow anything, and rarely get on it hard. Maybe once or twice a month it will see WOT and rarely for more than a few seconds.
Give me some opinions. I like smoke, but I'm more after power than smoke.
DDP4's, something extrude honed, F1's?
Thanks in advance,
-R.J.

Look up
Dynomite diesel in Washington. I don't know their number or anything but I hear GOOD things about their injectors. Less smoke more power and better idle. They will make pretty much what you want to match your other mods.

Yeah that the DDP 4's he was talking about. A lot of the big time competion 12v's run their injectors.

So the concensus is that the DDP4's are just about the all around winner so far?
Anyone else have experience with any other injectors, or have some testimonial about the difference in 370's and DDP's (dyno results and regular driving impressions).
Thanks,
-R.J.

I must have been reading too fast and didn't see the ddp4 the first time I read it.

Had 370s before. Good cheap power, but not the best.

Really like my DDP4s. More power, with lower EGTs. Little to no white smoke much past initial startup when cold. No big white clouds in winter or summer idling haze like the 370s. Black smoke is about the same or less than the 370s. Smoke is easier to control.

From what I hear, the other best alternative would be a set from F1. They are EDMed injectors, not extrude honed. They do cost quite a bit more than DDP, for the same power.

Actually DDP injectors are EDM as well, they just finish hone them to clean the EDM up. Click here and scroll about half way down the page and read the FAQ section.
