cummins diesel modifications

I am looking for some help on cranking up a generetion 1 cummins diesel.
we are about to be stupid and install a cummins out of a 90-1 ton pickup
into a jeep wrangler. I beleive there is a way to get more fuel by adjustments to the injector pump and I am hoping for some insight by someone who has
done it already. I appreciate your imput:smoke

This link will give you a little understanding of the VE injection pump.

You can crank the fuel screw. But this raises the internal pressures of the inj pump which can shorten the life of the pump. Going with bigger injectors would be the best option.

Make sure you have a EGT gage before turning it up. The non IC'd engine ran hotter in stock form than the later IC engines did.

93 W350 w/duals, fuel pin turned, 6X.018" injectors, 4" exhaust, 3" air intake horn, HX40/16, G56 /SBC Con-OFE, 307's axles' 2" skyjacker lift, B&W flatbed

You can turn the fuel screw, adjust the AFC, grind the fuel pin, add bigger injectors, and a larger turbo. The first three are free and require no other mods to make H.P. But I would strongly recomend a PYRO to keep an eye on things. If you have any questions about details feel free to ask or P.M. me. Sounds like a nice project. Good Luck!
