Pyro tap??

well i put in my pyro i did it about 2 to 3 inches about the turbo flange. but im pretty such i got darn lucky cuz i think im RIGHT next to the wall inside of the pipe. now is this going to give me a messed up reading or what. i have it centerd from top to bottom.:shrug:

It may be a little less accurate, but should still get you close to the correct reading.

true. i just wanted to know if it would decipate heat differently or not??

I don't think that you'll be off any more than 50*. I wouldn't worry about it.

Years back, I drilled my stock manifold right in the center. I was like, how thick is this stupid thing? Once I realized what I had done, I had a perfectly centered egt probe, measuring the front and rear manifold egt's. I didnt run it for too long before I got a good manifold.

ehh its all good, now you got an excuse to get a ATS or HTT 3 piece manifold that comes pre-tapped for a probe:Thumbup:
