A lot of pump work and big injectors. I don't know the specifics of the pump work and all but they are either bought with the mods made or put on a flow bench and tested after the plungers and barrels are machined.

Well i know what it takes to get there with a pump but i am reffering to the fuel to the pump. What kind of fuel pump are people using. From in the tank to the injector pump.

Ohh ok I feel stupid now. They have a mechanical transfer pump but I don't know if it will supply enough fuel for that much hp or not. I have heard of some people using a FASS but I don't know what their reasoning is.

Yeah most of the time the stock mech. fuel pump can only supply enough for around 500hp. FASS is what most of the big guys run. Or maybe some type of belt driven pump, but those aren't cheap.

Well I wonder how much fuel i can burn making a couple of passes on the drag strip a month and a few sled pulls and maybe if i can squeaze time in to do a little dynoing. Buy why worry about the fuel in the toy when my daily driver gets 10mpg with the new injectors.
