Tourque Converter Lock Up Light

I have a manual lock up switch and I was wondering if you could wire a little light so that when the converter is locked the light is on.

1997 Dodge 2500 4x4 auto, 4 inch exhaust, airaide intake, 0 plate, boost elbow, 4k gsk, trans, boost, and pyro gauges, built trans with billet converter, 16 cm exhaust housing.
1991 Dodge W250 4x4 manual, 3200 gsk, 4 inch straight piped, advanced timing 1/8", pump turned up all the way.
1997 F-250 Power Stroke-manual trans, 4" exhaust, TS 6 position chip with PHP Tunes, DIY intake, shimmend regulator.

I would think you could. Just wire it into the circuit to the switch.

Wait, does locking complete a circuit or break a circuit? It would work if turning it on completes the circuit.

I know on my 95, locking the TC puts a ground on the wire used to install the switch. If you put a powered LED on it the light will come on when ground is applied. Don't have a wire diagram for yours though, some one should come up with a better answer for you.

The switch grounds the circuit. I think a light wired inline before the switch Ts in should light up when ever the tc is locked, but I'm not sure

Hmmm... Dual K20 I got a question for ya...

Q: Would this lockup switch work for the gasser series rucks too?

Mom's got a 1996 Dodge 1500 59.L Gasser (Auto). I think it would help her fuel mileage to be able to keep it locked up in 4th...

i have a led in the blank plug next to the od off switch on the dash. when the converter locks the led comes on. it works with the stock lock up from the ecm too. when ever the converter locks up the led comes on. wire the led to a key on power suppley and the ground side to the orange with black on the tranny plug.
