If i grind the afc leg and switch the washers will i get less smoke

No you will get more until boost builds. I would back the pre-boost screw out to reduce smoke especially with switched washers

Welcome to TDG! Back off the starwheel. On the AFC there is a 8mm allen plug. Take it out and use a screwdriver to rotate it away from the engine. Go in increments of about 5 clicks till you get it how you want it. not too much though or you will lose a lot of performance. Just play with it till you like it.

ok, i thought that it would be more smoke but i got confused on a couple of the threads...yeah i have the star wheel adjusted
