How do you know if the afc arm is were it needs to be or if it needs to be ground? If it does need to be ground how much do you take of? Also is there anything else I can do to the AFC? Thanks

When you grind it your taking some off of the front of it to let it move further and give you more fuel. At least to me it sounds like you want to make the arm shorter. You can also switch to a softer spring and change the washer.

It doesn't really need anything. You can modify it if you want but its never wrong, it just might not be optimal. Just grind a little over 1/8 of an inch off of the arm. And back the pre-boost screw out to where you like it (all the way out for me)

there are also springs and washers to be tampered with
