It may be too large for a HX35 on top without a 50 mm or larger external wastegate.

Wouldnt support 1000hp in a compound setup unless it was a secondary. Definately not with a stock turbo.

It might work, but I do not think it would work very well. Here is why, the S472 would not light until the HX35 is just about out of map. Then the S472 would take over but it may not be the smoothest transition. You can give it a try but with that much air, the first time you burp the S472 you may break the shaft in the HX.

1000 hp is just a number. If he knew how few 1000 hp 12v were actually driving around, he'd be just as happy with the the 650 hp that a hx35/s475 or s472 could produce.


However, it isnt plausible to attempt to break even 700 with an hx35. Drive pressure would be rediculous and it just doesnt flow enough air to bother in anything other than the everyday 35/HT3B combos that everybody has.

ya i know im just learning about all this stuff i just baught a book on turbos so i will come up my own set up thanks guys so what would be a good one with that turbo
