The Air/ Fuel heating circuit question

For those of you that have swapped a 6BTA into other vehicles...

How do you set up the circuit so that the heaters turn off when the air/ fuel is warm enough?
I have the air temp sensor and the relays...has anyone made a "dummy" EDU?

not sure, but i'm going to face the same issue when i do my swap. what i was planning on is just running the relay off of a momentary toggle switch: when it's cold, hold it on for 5 sec, then crank, and intermitently hold it on for 10 and off for 5 until it idles smooth. seems it's really just to help get 'er started, so i don't think it needs to continue to run much after that. and if it's real cold, she should be plugged in any way to help.

that's my understanding of how you can manually mimic the stock system.... but i'm likely completely wrong.

but, whatever you do, i'll plan on copying (so document and share!!).

That was my take on it also.
I'm nearing the end of my re-motor punch list and I've included the necessary wires for the air heater into the loom and am going to stand down on perfecting the heating system until after the shake-down and possibly a month in Baja.
I "rub-elbows" with a few electronic gurus in my line of work, so if need be necessary...I'll call in a few favors.
I also have the advantage of heating the block through an inverter (2KV) from my home bank.

What about a thermo switch? The heaters are supposed to kick on if the temps are under 60*.
