would this upgrage for only 100 bucks be worth it. what all would it do? more smoke?

Better MPG, maybe a bit more HP on an OBS...

I went fro 100 v to 120 sd but i did not notice any improvments.

I also went from the 100 to the 120. No performance gains but it does start a lot better.

did my own install. 97 OBS. Noticed it idleing way smoother. just call digikey. Easy and worth it. My pick up doesnt even shake a mm or lope after.

I guess I never did post my IDM mod to my website.

Anyways.

It's not hard mod to do, but you wont notice much difference.
It just makes the throttle a bit snappier and the idle smoother.

But, I think its more of a placebo effect.
Initial throttle though, I believe is better.

It's not a bad mod.
But its not a necessary mod.
