Depends on your right foot

Serioulsy, get gauges 1st ! EGT, Trans, and Boost. This is a must with higher HP chips. Or risk BIG $$$$ if you feed it too much.

Your stock HPOP probably will not pump enough flow or psi to keep up with the demand of the 140HP.

100 or 120 would be ok.

Do something with the trany also, ie. valve body, valve and spring kit, tgger kit, etc.

With the OBS, the best you will see is about a 90hp... They have smaller HPOP, smaller Injectors, smaller turbos... If your wanting to chip it drop Tony Wildman a PM (twildman). He tunes about 80% of the OBS guys around... I have one of his chips and it rocks, very hot programs!

Jody at DP tuner is great too... I have not run his stuff, but everyone that does seems to be happy.

Ditto.

I have a DP chip and LOVE IT! I have stock, 40HP tow, 80HP economy, and 100HP play.

If you want anything more than 100, I would suggest getting a better HPOP & bigger injectors.

As previously suggested, call up one of the tuners, either Jody or Wildman. They'll be able to tell you what would suite your needs the best w/ the mods you have and plan on having later on.

do you like your dp chip? how did you make your intake. so the 140 would be to much for the stock pump and injectors. I had a edge programmer on there and i didn't like the fact that i had to turn my truck off to change settings can you tell a difference in your truck over 60 hp?

I just installed a 6 pos from DP Tuner in my dads 95' OBS. It had stock, 40 hp tow, 60 hp tow, 80 hp economy, 100 hp race "I think that's what it's called", and high idle. It made that truck actually come alive and feel like a diesel lived under the hood.

I would recommend Jody and Diane to anyone.

Im running DP's stock, 40hp tow, 80 econo, and 100 performance. I love it. However on the 100 setting i can get the HPOP over/under code pretty easly. so i run 80 Econo 99.98 percent of the time.

With the 96 Powerstroke you are limited to you output of fuel if you have stock injectors. The extreme setting would give you max fuel for your application. If you have any questions on the TS chip give us a call and we'll be happy to answer any questions or advise you on what is best for your truck. Alot will depend on what you use you truck for, and your plans on future upgrades, etc.

We've also got a cool new feature in the works for the TS manufactured 7.3 chips. So be on the out look for this cool new feature...... details coming soon.........

22" Akuza Wheels, ARE bed lid, MPD-HUD monitor, SunCoast tranny & custom paint by Taylor's Automotive Art coming soon
