New 7.3 tuner ??????

My friend just got a 2002 7.3 and it flat moves out. Is there any way to tell if it has a tune loaded in it?
It does not smoke and I don't see any plug in modules.

You can look at the computer and see if there is a chip installed...But without any smoke, I would bet its stock...

It might take more work the just looking at the computer i was going to sell my truck with the H2e and stage 3 injectors and it has a DP-tuner PCM but if you popped the hood you would swear it was stock that was till i stepped on it.

the truck could have a flash program in it! if the program has enough timing and boost you will have very little smoke
