Edge juice W\Attitude problems

Ok my buddy has an 01 stroke 6spd that he chip with the Edge Juice W\Attitude . Hears the prob the boots reading goes haywire reads really low boost or gets stuck at really hi boost EGTS read like 70* at a idle BTW this is his second time around, had to replace the first one similar problems. As you can guess he suffers power loss, some days it runs great and somedays not so great. Fuel mileage suffers too. Can u guys help him out? One other thing is that the check engine light blinks when you're in the throttle hard.

Thanks,
Scott

Two of my friends have assorted problems with e Edge Juice W\Attitude and the A2. They have been returned and replaced or reflashed. Based upon there experiences and comments, the product still has problems and there tech support is not resolving their issues. Recommend he returns for refund if he can get it, then maybe get a chip from one of the proven sources supporting this site.

The SES light is from one or both of two things, a ICP code or a overboost. THe ICP code is because the programer is asking for more HPO then the HPOP can give. Very commen on a tuned truck. Or it could be an overboost condition, if the computer see's over 20-22# boost it will defuel the truck to lower the boost condition. A blow off or regulator on the map line is a good cure for this, but the Edge gauges use the MAP sensor to get there boost reading...

I would put a set of gauges in the truck and put in a chip. I love my DpTuner chip. Great folks to deal with too. If you watch the gauges you can defuel yourself.

'00 cc f 350 a few mods, and a bts tranny.

I agree with u but I think my buddy is really worried about hurting his truck and really likes the piece of mind of the auto defueling. would the bully dog outlook monitor work with the dptuner?

Yes, but it will not "defuel"

so if he goes with a different chip he just needs to be mindful of his gauges and back his foot out of it when need be
